Holidays to Costa Rica reveal a small but perfectly formed beautiful gem, with a bountiful biodiversity you will want to visit time and time again to experience all this wonderful country has to offer. Ticos, the people of Costa Rica, have been quick to take up their role of custodians of this ecological paradise, balancing the preservation of natural resources with tourism and earning Costa Rica its reputation as the original ecotourism destination.

Holidays to Costa Rica are an adventurers' playground, discover an abundance of wildlife, lush national parks, incredible cloud forests, volcanic peaks and not forgetting stunning beaches. Off-the-beaten-track experiences and excursions have flourished in the recent years, hike through a number of national parks or make like a monkey and swing your way through the forest on a canopy tour.

Guanacaste, in the Northwest Pacific region, offers not only miles of the most beautiful beaches on the Pacific as Tamarindo, Flamingo, Sámara, Conchal and the amazing Gulf of Papagayo but also fascinating national parks and a variety of activities, including fishing, surfing, diving and golf. The stunning Rincón de la Vieja National Park and volcano is close by to the region's beach resorts, with hot springs, howler monkeys, bubbling mud pits and, of course, the steams and sparks of the active volcano to discover.
