Hotels in India
The India hotels in Kerala and Goa are peaceful havens away from the everyday bustle of Indian life, and offer the best of holidays to India - combining stunning scenery and beaches, with a dash of old-world charm.
Former hippy hot-spot Goa boasts 105km of unspoilt beaches and a colonial culture all of its own, thanks to years of Portuguese rule. For holidays in India with a Portuguese twist, sample the delicious cuisine and visit the quaint churches dotted all over this island Paradise, before retiring to some of the most luxurious hotels in India. The fallen city of Old Goa is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a stark contrast to the boho beach bars and glitzy resorts on the Northern shores.
Kerala offers holidays to India in a tropical paradise of lush waterfalls, verdant backwaters and sprawling plantations, with India hotels along a pristine shoreline of golden sandy beaches. Board a traditional houseboat and gently sail along the leafy lakes, or visit a wildlife sanctuary to marvel at exotic beasts. Cochin and Trivandrum are a hub of cultural sights, with ornate palaces and ancient temples, and Kovalum has the most bustling of beaches, with fishing boats and colourful beach shacks lining the shores.
