Hotels in Kenya

Kenya hotels are well-equipped for rest and relaxation after an adventurous day on safari - think chic lodges and luxury beach resorts rather than tented camps in the wilderness. With four major national parks and reserves, holidays to Kenya are all about the grand beasts that roam the African plains, from the thousands of birds that skitter across freshwater Lake Baringo, to the majestic sight of the Wildebeest migration across the Serengeti.

You can truly marvel at Mother Nature from a hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara Reserve, or when scaling the dizzying heights of Mount Kenya, the second highest mountain on the continent. If this all sounds too adventurous, spend your holidays in Kenya firmly on the ground, sunbathing on the serene Diani beach in Mombasa, with not a wildebeest or rhino in sight. Many of the hotels in Kenya are located in this bustling beach resort, which is close to Lamu, an island of medieval streets and Arab dwellings with a traditional flavour.
