Holidays to the Seychelles

Holidays to the Seychelles are pure postcard material, and the secluded sandy coves and fragrant tropical gardens make the perfect romantic getaway.

You'll spend lazy days on holidays to the Seychelles, frolicking in the sand and surf at the beaches of Praslin and Mahe island, and the more adventurous can dive underwater and experience the vibrant world of coral and fish shoals swimming beneath the surface. More exotic island life can be found inland at Anse Source d'Argent Island, amidst the green rainforests and mountain ranges - hire a bike and cycle or hike past rare flora and fauna.

The pace of life is slow and steady on holidays in the Seychelles, but for a change of scene visit the vibrant markets and browse the Creole handicrafts on sale - top buys are necklaces of mother-of-pearl, and woven baskets made from coconut palms.

Those warm trade winds and island breezes make for excellent watersports on holidays in the Seychelles, and windsurfers and yachts can be seen sailing around the coast.

Worked up an appetite on the beach? Whether you stay in resort or head for a local beach bar, Creole cuisine is an adventure in itself, an exotic mix of Chinese, Indian, African and French Flavours, and some of the freshest seafood you've ever tasted. Once you've polished off your dinner, spend evenings on holidays to the Seychelles chilling out with cocktail in hand, watching entertainment in your hotel, or in a tropical beach bar overlooking the sea.
