Hotels in Sri Lanka
For an indulgent retreat surrounded by outstanding natural beauty, Sri Lanka hotels would be hard to beat. Holidays to Sri Lanka can be as active as you choose, but with fine beaches bordered by coconut palms on the south-west coast, we won't blame you if you decide to chill out on the beach!
For holidays in Sri Lanka with thrill and spills, discover the abundance of lush rivers on the island terrain, by canoeing, kayaking or even white-water rafting your way around. The hotels in Sri Lanka are also well-equipped if you fancy riding the waves on the island's rocky surf, or exploring the coral reefs deep underwater.
Above ground, the Sri Lanka hotels can help organise excursions to the serene sights that showcase Sri Lanka's cultural heritage. Polonnaruwa's stone ruins, Anuradhapura's Buddhist shrines and the Mihintale holy hills will bring out anyone's inner guru.
Holidays to Sri Lanka would not be complete without an elephant - the island's lush jungles are full of the glorious beasts. Visit the elephant orphanage at Pinnawela, or mount one yourself and trek through the Habarana jungle. Cycling and hiking are a less bumpy way to get around!
