Hotels in Thailand

Thailand hotels are dotted all over this jewel of the Orient, from the unspoilt beaches on the southern coast to the modern metropolis in Bangkok. Most people think of Phuket when they choose holidays to Thailand, and this southern beach resort deserves its esteemed reputation.

Spend holidays in Thailand exploring the country's natural landmarks underwater, in the coral reef in gulf waters and marine parks. If you don't fancy donning a snorkel, go kayaking in the mangroves in Krabi or climb the limestone cliffs. Pattaya and Koh Samui offer more laid-back beach life, with some of the most luxurious hotels in Thailand.

Bangkok is the hectic capital city, and offers classier holidays in Thailand than its ritzy reputation would suggest. Some of the most modern hotels in Thailand are located in Bangkok, and the city is a mish-mash of the ultra-new and ancient traditions, with towering skyscrapers streets away from the Floating Market, Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The bright lights shine harder once night falls, but there are hipper night-spots to be found than the tourist traps of Pat Pong.

Stray from your Thailand hotels and discover authentic Thai cuisine from a street vendor or local canteen - top dishes include curried noodles and papaya salad. Head north and explore the deep jungles of the northern wilderness. Venture off the beaten track, with stays in hidden tribal villages, rides on the back of an elephant and on bamboo rafts across the river.

Overall, holidays in Thailand offer a great adventure and with the added luxury, Thomson Tailormade can help you to enjoy the perfect Thailand holiday..
