Las Vegas Hotels

Las Vegas hotels are made to entertain - you could spend a whole week wandering around these palaces of pleasure. With the themed hotels in Las Vegas, you could wake up in Paris, New York, Venice, the Italian Lakes, Ancient Egypt, or Arthurian England, and Vegas' glitzy copies of some of the world's greatest cities makes for one surreal sight along the Strip.

With such vast resorts and free events and shows going on all day, all the action is centred around the hotels in Las Vegas, from the high flying trapeze artists at Circus Circus, to the Pirate Show at Treasure Island. If you want a typical Vegas trip, you'll find all the Elvis impersonators, all-you-can-eat buffets and massive casinos you need.

Simply stroll through the hotels and along the strip and you'll be astounded by what the Las Vegas hotels have in store. Venture inside the Bellagio, and you'll find fountains, botanical gardens and a ceiling made entirely of coloured Murano glass. The MGM Grand has its own Lion Habitat amidst the slot machines, and The Venetian a mock-up Venice Canal complete with Gondola rides.

Of course there's more to explore beyond the impressive Las Vegas hotels, with the dazzling neon light shows and street performers at the Fremont Street Experience, the downtown district where it all began. You can even take a helicopter ride across the Grand Canyon or over the Strip at night.

Las Vegas is a shopping mecca, with many of the larger hotels in Las Vegas offering the opportunity to shop without even leaving the building. With the vast Forum Shops at Caesar's Palaces, the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian and the Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood. If that wasn't enough, bargain hungry shoppers can continue the fun at the Fashion Show Mall, or head to the outlet malls on the outskirts of the city.

When you've worked up an appetite, you can chow down, with nary a cheap diner or buffet cart in sight. World-Class and Michelin Starred cuisine can be found at celebrity favourite Nobu and Spago, and there's an international selection of dining options across the city, from the Hard Rock Café to French Bistros.

The city has upped the ante in the past few years, making hotels in Las Vegas among the most visited in the world. With a whole host of show-stopping performances, showgirl revues and concerts. Check out the Cirque de Soleil, Broadway Musicals or any of the top artists in residence in Las Vegas.
